These chunky clam shells are collected along the shores of the Hamptons on Long Island NY. They are what I call, chowder clams! They are thick and heavy and bigger in size then other clams. They are cleaned, painted inside and then I decoupage them, shellac them and then do the gold leafing paint. They are all unique and one of a kind since no two shells are the same.
Please keep in mind that the shell you receive may look slightly different from the photo. The design will be exact but if the one in the photo is sold in store, I will make another one that closely resembles the photo as much as possible!
